Hiring & jobs
Is it free to post a job?expand_more
Yes. Posting a job and receiving quotes from verified pros is completely free. You only pay when you decide to hire.
How do I choose the right pro?expand_more
Compare quotes, ratings, reviews, distance and verification badges. Use in-app chat to ask questions and agree scope before you hire.
Can I cancel after hiring?expand_more
Cancellation rules depend on how far the job has progressed. Contact support through the app if your plans change — escrow helps protect both sides.
For providers
How do I become a verified provider?expand_more
Join the waitlist as a provider. When the app launches, create your profile and complete identity (KYC) and skill verification. Once approved, you’ll earn a verified badge and can apply for jobs.
How much does it cost to join?expand_more
Creating a profile and browsing jobs is free. A transparent service fee applies only when you successfully complete a paid job.
Can I choose which jobs to take?expand_more
Absolutely. You decide which jobs to quote on, what to charge, and when you work. There’s no obligation to accept anything.
Payments & escrow
How does escrow protect me?expand_more
When you hire, payment is held securely by MySkillMatch instead of going straight to the pro. Money is only released when you confirm the work is done.
When does the provider get paid?expand_more
After you approve the completed work in the app. Providers can see the job is funded before they start, but payout happens on your approval.
What are the fees?expand_more
Clients see a small, transparent service fee at checkout. Providers pay a low commission only on completed, paid jobs. No subscriptions or hidden charges.
Trust & disputes
How are professionals verified?expand_more
Every provider passes identity verification (KYC) and a skills check before applying for jobs. Verified pros carry a badge; reviews come from completed jobs only.
What if something goes wrong?expand_more
Raise a dispute in the app before funds are released. Our team reviews evidence from both sides and mediates fairly — your money stays protected throughout.
Can I pay a pro outside the app?expand_more
No. Off-platform payments aren’t covered by escrow, verification or dispute support. Keeping everything on MySkillMatch protects both sides.
